Candlelight
Vigil: As we all know, a powerful
earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale struck central China on
May 12. The death toll is forecast to exceed 50,000 people, many of
them children, with countless injured and homeless. The Chinese
communities in the Greater Nashville area are organizing a candlelight
vigil this Saturday, May 17 (7:00 pm)
at Centennial Park to pray for the safety and health of those in
the quake-hit regions and to show support for the rescue and relief
efforts in China. Let us all offer our hearts and prayers in
remembrance of the innocent lives lost and to those who are still
struggling in the aftermath. flyer
Summer
